Mount Vernon finished fourth at the nine-team TaterTough Invitational on Wednesday, April 17, at Stone Creek Golf Course in Williamsburg.
Williamsburg won its home event with a 323 over 18 holes. The Mustangs carded a 337 and Joey Rhomberg led the team with a 79.
“The wind was howling the whole day,” Mount Vernon Coach John Rhomberg said. “Joey played great, especially during the second round when the conditions were really tough.”
