Brase, Reiling picked for Shrine Bowl
Mount Vernon senior Evan Brase and Lisbon senior Jonah Reiling were selected to play in the 51st Iowa Shrine Bowl, scheduled for July 22 at the UNI-Dome in Cedar Falls.
The 6-foot-4, 195-pound Brase was an all-state receiver who caught 60 passes for 1,042 yards and 12 touchdowns this past fall for the Mustangs.
Reiling, a 6-foot-4, 280-pound all-state offensive lineman, has committed to play at North Dakota.
In addition, three members of the Mount Vernon cheer team will participate – Brynn Lynner, Emily Patten and Nora Weiland.mvl-0
