The Lisbon boys’ golf team won a pair of duals, and placed fourth at the Easton Valley Meet during a busy week on the links.
The Lions opened with a win over Prince of Peace, 185 to 248, on Tuesday, April 9, at Valley Oaks Golf Course.
At Easton Valley on Thursday, April 11, Lisbon carded a 351 at Preston Valley Golf Course. Monticello won with a 325, followed by Camanche (347) and Easton Valley (347).
“That is always a great test for us, being our first invitational of the year and competing against some bigger schools,” Lisbon coach Dylan Hastings said. “We are able to get a good gauge on where we stand and what we need to continue to improve on.”
On Friday, April 12, Lisbon topped North Cedar 171 to 191 back at Kernoustie Golf Club.
“It was a windy one, but the boys competed well,” Hastings said.
