Members of Mount Vernon’s Girl Scout Troop completed a service and craft project, designing and distributing care baskets to area veterans. On Thursday, April 11, the girl scouts distributed the baskets to members of the Hahn Howard American Legion Post (Mount Vernon) and Cyclops American Legion Post (Lisbon) at an event at Lisbon’s American Legion Hall. If veterans were unable to attend, members of the legion post were working on making sure the baskets were distributed to members in their ranks.
