A fundraiser for the Dale Beeks family will be held Saturday, March 23, beginning at 2 p.m. at the First Street Community Center auditorium. Beeks passed away on Nov. 29 last year, and was influential in a number of musical acts and bands over the years.
“We are celebrating his life the only fitting way,” said Steve Maravetz, one of the organizers of the events. “With a live music event featuring many of the folks with whom he created it.”
More than 30 musicians and nine different bands will take to the stage for the concert gala Saturday.
