Linn County has a new online meeting portal that allows residents to watch Board of Supervisors meetings live on Linn County’s website and follow along with the meeting and agenda packets. Previously, videos were available on the County website only after the meetings were over. Recordings of the Board of Supervisors meetings are archived on the County’s website giving residents flexibility to view the meetings later on demand.
To watch a Board of Supervisors meeting video, visit the Agenda & Minutes page of the Linn County website at LinnCountyIowa.gov/Agendas-Minutes, scroll to the meeting you want to watch, and click the video camera icon.
All Linn County boards and commissions use this new portal for their meeting agenda packets. These public meeting documents are available online 24 hours before each meeting.
Get Notified
Residents can get notified of upcoming public meetings and agendas by signing up for notifications. Simply click the “subscriptions” button on the Agendas & Minutes webpage, follow the instructions to sign in, and select the board or commission meeting(s) of interest.
The move to this new system makes it easy for residents to stay informed and engaged with their local government and continues Linn County’s commitment to transparency, accessibility, and improving the customer experience.
