Mount Vernon senior Jackson Kutcher earned first-team all-WaMaC honors. Kutcher led the team in scoring with 16.1 points per game. He made a team-high 39 3-pointers.
“We are happy for Jackson getting his second consecutive first-team all-conference,” Mount Vernon coach Derek Roberts said. “All year he battled nagging injuries and illness and we are happy for him to earn this accomplishment.
“It is a sign of respect of the opposing coaches to how talented of a player that he is.”
Senior Joey Rhomberg and junior Joe Briesemeister got second team nods for the Mustangs.
Rhomberg averaged 12.0 points and 6.1 rebounds per game. Briesemeister averaged 10.5 points and 6.7 rebounds per game.
“Joey, although he only played in half of the conference games due to injury, this shows the respect to the player and competitor that Joey is,” Roberts said.
“It was a great accomplishment for Joe as a junior. He improved throughout the year.”
Sophomore Kellen Haverback (10.4 ppg) and senior Cooper Parks (7.2 ppg) earned special mention.
Mount Vernon finished 15-9, losing a second-round Class 3A substate game to Davenport Assumption.
