After several months of waiting, Bigs BBQ and Brew Pub is open in their First Street location in uptown Mount Vernon to a soft opening Tuesday, March 5, in uptown Mount Vernon.
Jimmie Daugherty, co-owner of Big’s Barbecue said they are hoping to have just traditional hours for the restaurant at the moment these first few weeks.
One feature he is looking forward to is the expanded tap of beer options that they will have available at the new space.
