While Cole Public Library supports and promotes African American literature through the year, February is Black History Month and a wonderful time to highlight the work of Black creators.
Throughout the month, the book display by our first floor check out desk will feature books by Black authors and illustrators. From picture books and poetry to classic novels and nonfiction, this display will showcase some of our favorite authors and artists including Langston Hughes, Toni Morrison, Jesmyn Ward, Ta-Nehisi Coates, Brit Bennett, Kwame Alexander, Christian Robinson, Vanessa Brantley-Newton and many more.
If you are celebrating Black History Month, or are just in need of good book, look no further than our first floor display.
