Susan Nost, 81, of Lisbon, passed away Wednesday, Jan. 17, 2024. Visitation was held from 3-5 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 21, 2024, at Stewart Baxter Funeral & Memorial Services, Mount Vernon. Funeral Service: was held at 11 a.m. Monday, Jan. 22, 2024, at the United Methodist Church, Mount Vernon. Burial followed at Lisbon Cemetery.
Susan was born Sept. 29, 1942, in La Crosse, Wis., daughter of Neil and Irene (Schmidt) McHugh. She married John Nost Oct. 2, 1982. She worked as a secretary at Rockwell Goss.
She enjoyed playing euchre, getting her nails done, boating, going out to eat and shopping.
Susan is survived by her husband, John Nost; daughter, Kelly Erickson; step-daughter, Mary (John) Hale; grandchildren, Sarena (Jose) Delgado, Vanessa Vizcarra, Adam (Jacqueline) Hale, Molly Hale and Alex Hale; great-grandchildren, Nolan Hale, Case Hale, Reagan Delgado, Greyson Delgado and Raevyn Delgado; and a niece, Lori.
She is preceded in death by her parents, daughter, Kristine Brown; and brother, Neil McHugh.
