Brianna Reed, 28, Anamosa, was injured in a single vehicle crash on Highway 1 Sunday, Jan. 21. She was transported to an area hospital by Lisbon-Mount Vernon Ambulance services with non-life threatening injuries..
According to Sgt. Dylan Schmid of the Linn County Sheriff’s Office, reed was northbound on Highway 1 in a 2006 Pontiac G6 at 10:45 p.m. As she was driving, she lost control of her vehicle and went into the west ditch just south of Mosher Lane.
Reed was cited for failure to maintain control of a motor vehicle, no insurance and failure to transfer title of a motor vehicle.
Jones County Sheriff, Mount Vernon-Lisbon Police Department and Martelle Fire Department also assisted at the scene.
