Starting in February, Cole Public Library is partnering with the Mount Vernon Area Arts Council to host a new program called Creatives Connect.
Creatives Connect is a free, low-pressure monthly gathering of visual artists and creatives. The first meeting is Sunday, Feb. 4, from 2-4 p.m. in Room 108 of the library. Subsequent meetings will be held at the library or another art-based venue.
This group offers a space for local artists to connect through their work and develop a creative community. Meetings will range in theme from artist demonstrations and workshops to studio tours and social time. Artists, you don’t want to miss out on this exciting event.
