With the first snowfall of the season, sledding hill was officially open beginning Tuesday, Jan. 9.
Bigs Barbecue hosted their first video early in the morning Tuesday, Jan. 9, showing the conditions on the sledding hill as the snow continued to fall during the day.
By Wednesday, with a fresh layer of glaze and frost on the hill, a number of youth took to the sledding hill.
Inner tubes, saucers, traditional sleds and snowboards were all seen traversing the hill during the day.
Some sledders had even worked to create a bump-out ramp made of snow for a little more excitement when traversing the sledding hill.
With an additional seven inches and drifting on Friday, Jan. 12, the sledding hill will likely remain open for more of the season as well.
