Officers of the Mount Vernon-Lisbon Police Department are investigating a possible suicide in Lisbon.
According to chief Doug Shannon, officers were paged to the 100 block of East Main Street in Lisbon for a possible suicide Jan. 6 at 7:51 p.m. Lisbon Fire Department and Lisbon Mount Vernon ambulance Service also responded to the scene.
Lifesaving measures were attempted to rescue the 21-year-old male, but he was pronounced dead. The name of the victim was not known at press time.
Investigation continues into the incident, but Shannon said no foul play is suspected.
