Linn County has released its fiscal year 2023 Popular Annual Financial Report (PAFR). The report is part of Linn County’s ongoing commitment to keep residents informed about how taxpayer dollars are used to fund programs and services in an easy-to-read format.
In addition to providing easy-to-understand financial information, the report demonstrates the vital role of county government by highlighting some of Linn County’s notable accomplishments and challenges of the past year. This year’s annual report includes:
• A month-by-month look at how Linn County served the public this past year
• Linn County’s collaboration with the City of Cedar Rapids on homelessness
• The Mental Health Access Center
• New Track-a-Plow website
• The historic Bertram “Blue” Bridge
• And more
Copies of the annual report are available in The Gazette (Dec. 27, 2023) and in the Jan. 4, 2024, editions of the Mount Vernon-Lisbon Sun and the Central City Linn News.
The report is also available on the Linn County website LinnCountyIowa.gov. A limited number of print copies will be available at the Jean Oxley Linn County Public Service Center at 935 2nd St. SW in Cedar Rapids beginning Dec. 28.
