Lisbon 4HFor the 4H meeting of November our main focus of the meeting was discussing the installation of a play digger and picnic table for the handicap at the Lisbon Park. The group discussed the budget the club would have, and the funds we would need to make these projects happen. Later in the meeting, community service projects for the Christmas season were discussed. Members talked about “Adopt a Family” and ringing the bell for the Salvation Army. November 19 was county awards day.
The club members that were recognized are Brendan Guyer- Historian Award, Brysen Youngblut-5th All Around Youth Exhibitor Award, Payton Curtis-Sewing and Needle Arts Project Award, and Caleb Ross-Secretary Award. The members recognized for the Junior Achievement Award were; Wyatt Stout, Kohl Rummells, Cael Dains, Brant Von Behren, Natalie Von Behren, Lucus Curtis, and Riley Resor.
For the club recreational activity, each member was encouraged to stand up and make a 60 second speech. Speech topics the members could choose from we’re sports, school, family, and holidays. Many other club activities were discussed for the end and upcoming year.
