The Mount Vernon Booster Club is holding a “Paint the Town” fundraiser. Members of the Booster Club will paint a Mustang Logo, an MV School logo or both logos on your driveway for a fee. The cost for a solo Mustang logo or MV school logo is $35. The cost for both logos is $60.
Logos will be painted near the end of your driveway unless you specify otherwise.
“We’re excited to have a show of community spirit and support for our athletic teams on display as visitors, residents and our own athletes travel through Mount Vernon,” said Josh Rife, Mount Vernon Booster Club president.
Rife noted that there is not a deadline for when orders should be placed, but he recommends getting orders in now, as the number of paintings could be limited by weather.
Driveway area should be swept clean prior to painting.
Property owner does not need to be home when painting is scheduled.
Payment must be made prior to painting.
All proceeds to the fundraiser will benefit athletic programs at Mount Vernon High School and Middle School.
The Booster club held a similar fundraiser before the COVID-19 pandemic. If your logo at your home needs to be repainted, now would be the time to sign up for that as well, and the process is the same.

Logos are painted with maroon outdoor driveway spray paint.
The Mount Vernon Booster Club provides thousands of dollars in uniforms and equipment to the athletic programs at the schools each year.
“This is just one of the many fundraisers we are holding to expand our efforts,” Rife said. “If people want to bee involved in the Booster Club projects, there are more coming up this year.”
