The council approved downtown reinvestment fund grants for four businesses in the downtown historic district.
505 Walnut Investments was asking for $7,274 to help with the costs of replacing some windows in their business in downtown Lisbon.
Canton Studios was seeking $2,313 to aid with painting windows, stucco work, window lighting and tram coverage for their business space.
D and D Body sought $1,443 to aid with construction to the business façade.
Indulgence Salon requested $5,846. The work would replace some of the basement windows for the business. All told, $16,876.07 was dispersed from the $20,000 in downtown reinvestment grants.
“I’m glad people are taking advantage of and using these funds to make improvements to their businesses,” said mayor Doug O’Connor.
