Dubuque County Soil & Water Conservation District will be hosting a family event Sept 17, at the Dyersville Greenspace – Located in Westside Park (417 Third Ave SW Dyersville) This event is entirely free, fun, and educational. For families of all ages.
There will be conservation professionals from across Iowa coming together for Conservation Day in Dyersville, providing a great treat for the community. Interactive activities, informative presentations, and wild animals will be available for a fun day of learning.
Families can enjoy a leisurely walk along the North Fork Maquoketa River while learning about nature, wildlife, and conservation. They can explore interactive and informative booths from all participants. This event offers something for everyone, regardless of age, and guarantees a fun-filled, educational experience for the whole family. There will be food trucks on site too – separate from the event.
The field day will have many agencies, non-profits, local farms and local businesses presenting. All tied to conservation in Iowa:
