Often when I write this article or talk with patrons, I encourage them to let me know what books they would like to see in the library. It helps me make sure our collection reflects the wants and needs of the community.
A patron recently asked me for quilting books about using precut fabrics. They were seeing these fabric sets in the quilt shops but weren’t sure how to use them. I had recently come across one of these books in a quilting magazine at the library and said I would purchase it and see what else I could find on the topic. These quilting books have arrived and are ready for checkout. They are: Just One Charm Pack Quilts, Cheryl Brickey; Sew Layer Cake Quilts and Gifts, Carolyn Forster; Roll with the Classics: 14 Popular Quilt Patterns Made Easy with Jelly Rolls, Jean Ann Wright; Just Two Charm Pack Quilts: Slash Your Stash Make 16 Throw Quilts, Cheryl Brickey; The Joy of Jelly Rolls, Carolyn Forster.
