The volunteers at Raptology held a workshop with rescue birds at Palisades Kepler State Park Saturday, June 19, part of the Friends of the Palisades-Kepler State Park programming. Attendees were able to see some of the rescue birds up close and learn about their flight and hunting habits. Attendees also had the opportunity to dissect owl pellets to look for the bones of the prey the owls had fed on recently.
