The Mount Vernon-Lisbon Community Development Group (CDG) has announced an after-hours community forum led by City Administrator Chris Nosbisch titled “MV: The Next Five Years,” to take place Wednesday, June 21, from 5 to 6:30 p.m. at Mount Vernon Creates, 121 1st St, NW.
Produced in partnership with the City of Mount Vernon, the program will be focused on City Planning over the next five years.
“We have seen a lot of changes and endured a lot of adversity over the last few years,” said Chris Nosbisch, City Administrator, Mount Vernon. “The CDG Economic Vitality committee approached us with this program and we thought this was a great way to share the City’s plan with the general public. All are welcome to come and hear what the City is planning and how the City of Mount Vernon might be able to better partner with all for-profit and non-profit organizations to ultimately make our community a better place to call home.”
The event will include heavy hors d’oeuvres. Wine, soda and beer is available for purchase.
The event is free and open to the public, however those planning to attend should respond to Joe Jennison, for food planning purposes. To RSVP or for more information, contact Joe Jennison, CDG Director, at (319) 210-9935 or through email at [email protected]
