Lisbon kindergartners and their guardians got a chance to leave the school year excited about science, as the Kindergarten science fair was held at Lisbon Thursday, May 25.
Prior to the fair, students had designed a box and posters about science, as well as a year in review projects.
Students were able to take part in many different science related tasks at the science fair with their guardians in tow, including structures and engineering building tasks, identifying insects, tornado tubes, catapults (firing little pom-poms with popsicle stick created catapults), science tools, domino trains, the incredible journey of water from weather to soil and nutrients, and shape forms among others.
The Lion’s Den was full of scientists enjoying the chance to conduct safe experiments, with some classes even adorning white lab coats for the experience.
