Sharks have become a cultural phenomenon. They’ve captivated our imagination in movies and TV, are immortalized in song, and have an entire week dedicated to them.
If you are a shark fan, then mark your calendar for Cole Library’s first program of the summer: Ocean Odyssey. On Monday, June 5, at 2 p.m., the National Mississippi River Museum and Aquarium is bringing their traveling touch tank program to the library.
This program examines the unique adaptations of sharks and their ocean ecosystems. It also explores how people like us affect sharks that lives thousands of miles away. At the end of the program, attendees have the chance to touch real sharks!
So, gather the whole family for this all-ages program, and swim on over to Cole Library.
