The Lisbon Chapter of the National Honor Society has had a very busy spring!
The chapter has been hard at work collecting items for the Southeast Linn Community Center, specifically house cleaning and paper products. They also sought out donations of period products and spare kids’ pants for Nurse Julie Light’s office, and hairbrushes and elastic bands for the Lisbon Caring Closet.
The chapter also planned and hosted a Wellness Day for elementary students, inviting classes down to the track and practice field for rotating sessions that combined physical activity with wellness lessons. Chapter members discussed healthy nutrition, hydration, and sleep with the younger students, then led them in body-moving games. This event was entirely planned, run, and made successful by chapter members and their incredible creativity and leadership.
The Lisbon chapter of the National Honor Society will be saying goodbye to the following seniors at the end of this year as they leave us to pursue their dreams:

And lastly, congratulations to Peyton and Kali for being selected by the NHS juniors to receive the National Honor Society Leadership Award this year. This was presented at Senior Awards Night on May 16.
