Cornell’s Kylie Jacobson, Audrey Small, and Ashley Mink each garnered two wins as the Rams took down the Bees of St. Ambrose 7-2 inside the arena of the Small Athletic and Wellness Center.
The Rams went 2-1 in doubles play with Jacobson and Small earning their first win of the day behind an 8-5 victory over Julia Turek and Paige Bily.
Ashley Mink joined by Josalin McKeever earned an easy win at No.3 doubles 8-2 over Megan McConnaughay and Hayley Hoffman. The pair have won two straight doubles matches.
Kylie Jacobson won her fifth straight singles match in a third set at No. 4 singles 6-1, 3-6, 1-0 (10-8). She moves on to 12-8 on the year in singles.
Cornell claimed straight-set victories in four singles matches. Weis Kleigeld won 7-5, 6-0 at No. 2 singles to move to 3-4 overall. Audrey Small won 6-2, 6-0 at No. 3 singles to improve her record to 13-8.
Ashley Mink at No. 5 singles won 6-3, 6-1 while the No. 6 singles featured Ashley Drake who won 6-4, 6-2. Mink improves to 7-14 in singles plays while Drake is 14-8 in singles play.
