The Lisbon girls golf team jumped out of the gate defeating their first two opponents, with a home win last Wednesday against Easton Valley, and a decisive 197-223 road victory the following evening at Cal-Wheat.
Wednesday, April 5
Though the team score ended up being close, the Lions claimed the two lowest scores at home against Easton Valley, with Kaylie Kelchen shooting a 44 and Eryn Jackson contributing a 47.
Thursday, April 6 Rather than take the top two spots, the Lions took the top three against Calamus-Wheatland on the road.
Kelchen again was the lowest score of the day with 42, while a second-place tie emerged between Karlee Luneckas and Eryn Jackson, a pair of teammates who each shot a 48.
