Cornell junior Alexander Hadler-Strumlauf chalked up two more wins for the Rams Saturday, although Central came away with a 7-2 dual victory in men’s tennis action inside Kuyper Athletics Complex.
Hadler-Strumlauf continued his impressive play, highlighted by a decisive 6-1, 6-2 win over Trey Melvin at No. 1 singles. He improved to 9-7 on the season.
The Rams (7-10) also scored a team point at No. 1 doubles with Hadler-Strumlauf and Polidori claiming an 8-4 victory. They moved to 9-8 as partners this spring.
Central (6-8) won 8-1 at the No. 2 and No. 3 doubles positions.
The Dutch were tough in their five singles wins, dropping only 10 total games.
