Mount Vernon Middle School students had the opportunity to participate in a dodgeball tournament Wednesday, March 8.
The tournament was another fundraiser for the Mount Vernon Post-Prom committee.
The tournamnet was a double elmination tournament, giveing every team at least two opportunities to play Wednesday, with the Ohioans coming back from a loss to the Wiebel team to face Wiebel again in the champonship match to come up with a different result.
Dodgeballs were flying fast and furious, and judges had their work cut out on determining what was a clear hit and what was blocked by a ball or caught by a teammate to null the loss.
After the first tournament, teams continued playing additional matches until the 3:30 p.m. time frame, when the event concluded.
