Do you need a break from winter?
Spring break is just around the corner. If that doesn’t mean sunny destinations for you, you can still get away from it all and take a break at the library.
We will host three days of spring break programs for children. These events are free but you MUST register. We want to have enough supplies for everyone.
• Spring Break Movie @ Cole Library — Monday, March 13, 10-11:45 a.m., Room 108. Join us for Puss in Boots: The Final Wish, PG. Popcorn and a drink will be provided. Call 319-895-4262 to reserve your seat.
• Lego Live@ Cole Library – Tuesday, March 14, 10 a.m.-noon, Room 108. We provide the Legos, you provide the brain power and the chance to win prizes. This is not free play but a more structured event for elementary aged students. Call 319-895-4262 to reserve your seat
• Knitting Camp @ Cole Library — Wednesday, March 15, 10 a.m. – noon, Room 108
Learn to knit a little chick basket. We provide the yarn, pattern, and needles to knit the chick. Participants will come in staggered increments so signing up is a MUST. Call 319-895-4262 to reserve your seat
If you are unable to join us for these programs, stop in the library for a good spring break read. If you are heading out of town, don’t forget an audio book, an e-book, or DVD for the car ride.
