Lisbon placed third out of 13 teams at the TriRivers Individual Speech Contest.
“We took a limited number of performers due to other events happening on the same day, but everyone performed well,” said coach J’Nee Reade.
Sam Cooley earned Division Is in acting with “What Happens in Neverland Stays in Neverland” and storytelling with “The True Story of the 3 Little Pigs.” In storytelling she was also named best of center.
Rachel Bartels received a Division I and best in center in original oratory with “Unrealistic Ideas of Love Lead to Heartbreak.”
Sawyer Feldman was second place in his center and earned a Division I for storytelling with “Leo the Lightning Bug.” He also earned a Division I for prose “The Big Picture.”
Gavin Reinken earned a Division I in solo musical theater with “Along the Way” and a Division II in solo improvisation.
Teagan Wahlstrom earned Division Is in poetry with “Togetherness and Mushrooms” and acting with “Identity Play.”
Ben Jubeck earned a Division I in prose with “Out of Touch with my Feminine Side.”
Faith Miller earned a Division I in reviewing with “Animal Crossing: New Horizons.”
