The Mount Vernon Community School District Foundation has begun a Save Me a Seat fundraising campaign for the Mustang Activities Complex.
With a donation of $500 or more, donors can personalize a plaque that will be applied to a bleacher seat in the home stands of the new activities complex.
Funds generated from the Save Me a Seat campaign will be applied to the overall project costs.
The seat location will be determined by the school and school foundation. Seat donors will still need to purchase tickets to any event at the Mustang Activities Complex, and are not guaranteed seating in the locations bearing their names.
Donors can make a pledge of $500 or more from now until December 2023. Donations can be made online at mvcsd.org/district/foundation or checks mailed to MVCSD Foundation, 525 Palisades Road S.W., Mount Vernon, IA 52314. A form designating what you want the plaque to read and who made the donation needs to be filled out at the time of order.
