Mount Vernon LionsThe Mount Vernon Lions Club met Monday, Nov. 28, at Whitey’s Restaurant in Lisbon. Paul Fugate introduced the speaker for the evening, Rick Baughman from Eldridge, Iowa who is the First Vice Governor of District 9EC. Mr. Baughman gave the club an update about Lion service, membership and leadership in the district and also about initiatives to obtain more grants for the District from the Lions Clubs International Foundation.
The next Lions Club meeting will be the Christmas Party at Mount Vernon Creates Dec. 14.
