The Lisbon Library will host a concert by the Des Moines Irish Session on Sunday, Dec. 4, at 2 p.m. in Heritage Hall. DMIS is a collective of roughly twenty Iowa Irish musicians passionately focused on traditional Celtic music.
The Lisbon audience will hear five DMIS members — Jon Duvick, Anna English, Brad Millison, Mark Bro and Ed Fallon. They will play bouzouki, violin, whistle, flute, harmonica, guitar, accordion, bodhran and piano, and will also sing songs in both English and Irish.
All are welcome at this free event.
