In the Nov. 17 issue of the Mount Vernon-Lisbon Sun newspaper, there were a few inaccuracies in the City of Mount Vernon approves TIF for building removal story. Gregory Raupp and Jude Smith are not developers, they are just the owners of the new building looking to preserve the historic building in uptown Mount Vernon. As well, the couple has not applied for grants for the removal of paint on the building’s exterior. They close on owning the building Dec. 2.
