Scott Morningstar, CPCU of Lisbon, was recognized at the Independent Insurance Agents of Iowa’s Annual Convention held Aug. 31 in Altoona by being honored for the prestigious H.H. “Red” Nelson Agent of the Year Award for 2022. The Independent Insurance Agents of Iowa represents almost 560 member agencies in the state and over 12,000 licensed insurance agents. The organization serves the business interests of insurance agents who represent multiple insurance companies selling auto, home, farm, business, trucking, life and health insurance.
Morningstar has been actively involved in the Independent Insurance Agents of Iowa. He has been a board member and past president of the Association. Scott is owner of Lisbon Insurance Agency in Lisbon.
