Lisbon’s Homecoming activities begin Monday, Sept. 26.
Monday’s dress-up theme is Adam Sandler and Anything but a backpack. The Lisbon junior varsity football game against Wapello starts at 6 p.m., and fresh/sophomore and junior varsity volleyball matches begin at 5:30 p.m. at Lisbon.
Tuesday’s dress up day is Partners and Crime.
The Lisbon varsity volleyball team faces off against Iowa City Regina with games beginning at 5:15 p.m.
Wednesday’s dress-up theme day is class color day.
Powderpuff games begin at 7 p.m., with sophomores versus juniors, 7:30 p.m. has freshman vs. seniors. There’s a mom skit from 8 to 8:15 p.m., and then the championship game begins at 8:20 p.m.
Thursday’s dress-up theme is soccer moms vs. barbecue dads.
The volleyball team plays at Marquette Catholic School beginning at 5:15 p.m.
Friday’s dress-up theme is spirit day.
A pep rally for homecoming starts at 3 p.m. at Lisbon Schools.
The Homecoming coronation will be held at Walmer Field at 6:20 p.m., with the varsity football game beginning at 7 p.m. at Pekin.
Saturday is the homecoming dance, which will be held at the Tin Roof Hideaway and Events center from 8 to 11 p.m.
