The Cedar Rapids Linn County Solid Waste Agency will host Appreciation Day for customers and staff at the Solid Waste Agency landfill and Resource Recovery building location, 1954 County Home Road, Marion, on Friday, Sept. 9.
Lunch will be provided from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Stop out and get a burger, hotdog, or brat, chips, cookies, and pop from the Solid Waste Agency.
Appreciation Day acknowledges the hard work of our customers and Agency staff. Please take a well-earned break and enjoy a free lunch from the Solid Waste Agency! There will also be information about Forward 2044, the Agency’s planning process for what will happen with garbage and recyclables after the current landfill and recycling location closes on June 30, 2044.
