Lisbon parks and recreation sign-upsLisbon parks and recreation is taking sign ups for fall soccer and football leagues. The fall soccer is open for pre-k through sixth graders, and will have co-ed teams. Flag football leagues are open to youth in first through sixth grade, and will be co-ed teams. Intro to flag football is open to youth in alternative kindergarten through kindergarten.
Registration forms are available at Lisbon City Hall at 115 N. Washington St. or www.cityoflisbon-ia.gov.

Mount Vernon
pool movie night The final Mount Vernon pool night will be held Friday, Aug. 19, from 9 to 11 p.m. Free popcorn and a glow bracelet will be available to all participants. The movie being shown will be Lightyear. The movie is free to all season pass holders or $6 per person without a season pass.
