Jan “Donaldson” Flynn, 83, passed away Monday, July 19 2022. She was a long-time resident of Lisbon, until she moved to Tennessee in 2000.
Jan was a Master Gardener and enjoyed fishing, photography, her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Jan worked as a Medical Technologist for many years until she retired from St Lukes Hospital. She also managed Essex’s Garden Center, then Frontier Garden Center in Mount Vernon and enjoyed teaching everyone about gardening and flowers.
Per Jan’s final wishes, she requested no services. She is to be cremated and her ashes will be spread around her beloved home in Palmersville, Tenn.
The family planned a small celebration of life for Jan at the Lester Buresh Community Center in Mount Vernon Sunday, July 24, 2022.
