Jack Edward Stanton was born the son of Ralph and Marguerite (Manley) Stanton in Cedar Rapids, March 19, 1931. Jack passed away in Cedar Rapids May 29, 2022.
Jack graduated from Mt. Vernon high school in1949, Cornell College and The University of Iowa. Following a lengthy career with the Arizona Highway Commission, he worked for several federal agencies before retiring to Dewey, Ariz. Jack and Eileen Ruth Harper were married in 1980. She pre-deceased him Aug. 1, 2019, in Phoenix, Ariz. Survivors include nieces, Mary Lee Parks of Marion and Julie Hanson of Cedar Rapids.
