Town Center Office Suites in uptown Mount Vernon held a ribbon cutting Thursday, June 30.
Casey O’Connor, owner of the building, discussed some of the improvements he has made to many of the offices in the space, including new carpeting, furniture and more dedicated internet access.
“The artwork on the walls has all been sourced locally, purchased from many artists who displayed at Mount Vernon Creates,” O’Connor said.
Many of the offices have keyless entry for people renting, allowing doors to be opened with a cell phone or other device.
Renters have access to conference room spaces, as well as a waiting room space in the building. It also provides a mailing address for many businesses.
O’Connor sees the importance of this space increasing the amount of people having office space in uptown and frequenting the businesses in uptown Mount Vernon.
O’Connor has finished the remodel of the second floor of Town Center Office Suites, completing a remodel of the three floors of office space.
“I’m waiting to see the client who needs the space and will furnish the office spaces to their needs,” O’Connor said. “There are a few one or two people offices and some space that could house a much larger number of people.”
