Southeast Linn Community Center will hold a School Supply Distribution & Pop-Up Pantry Wednesday, August 3, from 4 to 6 p.m. at the Lester Buresh Center in Mount Vernon. School supplies and backpacks will be provided to students in the Lisbon and Mount Vernon school districts, as well as students who are homeschooled in those communities. Pre-registration is required. Registration can be completed at www.selinn.org or by calling 319-455-2844. Registration deadline is Friday, July 22. Community members interested in supporting this event can provide a financial donation, contribute supplies, or volunteer.
