Mount Vernon baseball will participate in the Class 3A Substate 4 playoffs. Their first game is tomorrow, Friday, July 8, at West Delaware. The Mustangs will play against West Delaware starting at 7 p.m.
The winner of that match up will face off against the winner of Solon and Maquoketa at the Solon Recreation and Nature Area Monday, July 11 at 7 p.m.
The final game to determine a state qualifier will be played Wednesday, July 13 at 7 p.m. at McAleece Park and Recreation Complex.
