Hills Bank, as part of its Classroom Cash program, recently donated $1,708.16 to the Lisbon Community School District and $2,245.98 to the Mount Vernon Community School District. These funds will be used to support programs and services that enhance student educational experiences.
Since 2004, $43,229.65 has been donated to the Lisbon Community School District and $64,136.54 to the Mount Vernon Community School District. Classroom Cash card holders have earned a total of over $1.3 million for participating area schools. With every swipe of their Hills Bank debit card, over 11,400 customers generate donations from Hills Bank to their designated public school district or private school in our local communities. There is no charge to the school or to our customers; it’s just a great way to make a difference for area students.
