The pool feasibility study conducted by the City of Mount Vernon is seeking input from citizens in two capacities.
On Monday, June 27, beginning at 4 p.m., an informational meeting will be held at the Davis Park Pavillion in Davis Park. This is a stop and go informational meeting, with representatives from Waters Edge seeking input from the community. Mount Vernon parks and recreation director Matt Siders said the start time beginning at 4 p.m. was to allow more users of the pool to stop in at the pavillion after open swim, lap swim and other swimming activities. All ages input is welcome. The meeting will conclude at 6 p.m.
Waters Edge is also conducting a survey, a link of which can be found on the Mount Vernon Swimming Pool Facebook page or a pinned link on the Mount Vernon-Lisbon Sun’s Facebook page. The online survey takes roughly five minutes to complete, and all feedback is appreciated.
