Kaleb Brand, Nolan Brand and Noah Erickson of Mount Vernon were honored for their performance with the Central College men’s basketball team.
Kaleb earned his first varity letter, was named to the Academic All-Conference team and was noted as a team most improved player award for 2021-22.
Nolan earned his first varsity letter and was named to the Academic All-Conference team.
Erickson earned his first varsity letter.
The Dutch have won 17 conference titles—including 11 since 1975. They’ve also made 11 NCAA Division III tournament appearances. A young Central squad posted a 7-17 overall record in 2021-22 and 15 players received varsity letters. The schedule was highlighted by a trip to Orlando, Florida for the Hope College RDV Tournament Dec. 29-30.
Sophomore center Josh Van Gorp (Pella) received the Muyskens Most Valuable Player Award.
