Mount Vernon Trailblazers
The March meeting of the Mount Vernon Trailblazers was called to order at 4:08 p.m. by Claire Gaffney; The Pledge of Allegiance was led by Gabby Penate.
The committees met and discussed the following: The community service committee is planning on doing roadside cleanup and putting up flags for vets. The education recreation committee is trying to come up with ideas to do with the club like ice skating or a pizza dinner.
The youth council held the eggstravaganza on April 2.
Brad Stoner led the leader’s report. The Mount Vernon fire department is holding a pancake breakfast on April 16. We are reaching the deadline for YQCA which is due on May 15, 2022, if you don’t do this, you are not eligible to show livestock at the Linn County Fair.
The 4-H pledge was led by Mckinley Ketelsen and the meeting was adjourned at 4:30 p.m.
