New trash collection penalizes recyclers
Proposed city trash collection is nonsense. It penalizes recyclers’ while rewarding larger solid wasters’. Example, the 65 gallon solid waste and the 95 gallon solid waste weekly pick-up costs same. Recycling is not encouraged as the added cost reduces the incentive to make the effort. This flies in the face of logic! Very disappointed in city leaders!
