Linda Langston, former Linn County Supervisor who later served as President of the National Association of Counties, will talk about her work in Washington DC and throughout the US at 10 a.m. Jan. 8, League of Women Voters Linn County Cedar Rapids VIRTUAL public meeting.

Langston is the first Iowa in 80 years to have served as president of the National Association of Counties. In 2016-2019 following her service as organization president she was NACo Director of Strategic Relations and remains a consultant to the national group.
